Rioja Berrueco B10 is the flagship wine of Berrueco’s winery crafted with exceptional care. The grapes are hand-harvested from a single Vineyard planted in 1945. Upon arrival at the winery, grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. After alcoholic fermentation has finished, malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, where the wine is aged for approximately 6 to 9 months, depending on the winemaker's criteria. This careful process is designed to preserve the unique identity of the Vineyard, resulting in vintage to vintage variations.
It is a powerful, full-bodied and aromatically complex wine due to the mixture of varieties present on the vineyard with a subtle touch of wood, yet fruity aromas remain dominant.
Berrueco B10 has been rated 91 points by Tim Atkin MW.
